Join us, and welcome David Jordan, of Volunteers of America Western Washington. (VOA)

David will share about the planned Lynnwood Neighborhood Center, a major project that will utilize a large portion of Trinity Lutheran Church’s property off 64th Ave W, just down the street from where we meet.

He will speak to the gaps in services in South Snohomish County for social services and VOA’s desire to introduce an integrated service center model in South Snohomish County. David will provide an overview of the Lynnwood Neighborhood Center, the timeline for the project, and the current array of service partners.

The mission of Volunteers of America Western Washington (VOA) is to serve people and communities in need and create opportunities for people to experience the joy of serving others. While the needs of the community have changed dramatically since VOA opened their doors more than a century ago, the essence of thier mission has never wavered: we reach and uplift vulnerable families, children, seniors, and disabled adults so they can be self-sufficient, experience connection, and reach their full potential.

David Jordan is a Project Manager at Volunteers of America Western Washington. He is currently working on the Lynnwood Neighborhood Center project. He has lived in Edmonds since 2007 with his wife and three daughters.
